Portfolio Check List (long version)

2014 Semester Graduation Checklist
CHECKLIST FOR THE SEMESTER:

1. Portfolio  Inventory:
10-15 Minute Individual Presentations of past work to the entire class.
This will happen in class. Each Designer will give a 10-15 minute presentation of past work in any format you wish. It could be a Best of Video Reel or an interactive PDF or powerpoint, or a video with a voice over. This will give not only you but everyone a chance to see what YOU intend to include in your final portfolio. Don't forget that you have current projects this semester so allow room for those if you so choose.

At the end of the semester you will have rehearsals prior to your Senior Exit Review.
How do you start the review, what is the pace of the review, where do you put the videos or other interactive work in your review, how do you incorporate all the work into one cohesive presentation?
Lots of questions you need to answer.

I've seen the most confident people in the class simply get lost in their Senior Exit Reviews.
So, it will take some time and some rehearsal on your part to get it organized.

Historically, there have been quite a few who did not graduate after their Senior Exit Reviews due to lack of skills, work not included, classes that were not completed, audit from classes, and showing up late to the Review. There is still a senior from last year who will be joining your group this year to go through the Exit Review once again.

Make sure you are eligible to graduate and go through the Senior Exit Review. If you have not passed all your classes then you cannot be in Portfolio class this semester.
